Abstract
Photocatalysis has been across the fields of photo-hydrolysis, treatment for pollutions and wastewater contaminated, dye-sensitized solar cells, fixation of the compounds of nitrogen and carbon and so on. Recent efforts have been focused on the development of photocatalytic technology for environment-cleaning, including surface-cleaning materials, air-cleaning and purifying drinking water. And it is recognized today, the photocatalytic technology for environment-cleaning materials is capable of an actualizing technique in industries.
Here the present state, development trends and future for photocatalytic materials for environment-cleaning would be introduced. Photocatalytic active coating systems with self-cleaning, anti-bacterial, foul-resistant and fog-reducing characteristics are the central focus of the introduction.
